本書1999年初版,2003、2008年重印,旨在將固態(tài)物理學(xué)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)入門教材和講述其發(fā)展的專著之間架起一座橋梁。從最基本的磁性理論問題開始,到相對基礎(chǔ)的專題,如重費(fèi)米子,Mott過渡,量子磁性。盡管這部教材相對比較理論,但并沒有假定讀者具備一定的理論知識,也討論一些實驗發(fā)現(xiàn)。自始至終有問題相伴,并給出了詳細(xì)解答。
